The Rolph Family Vineyards are situated west of Paso Robles in the rolling hills of Adelaida. The soils are moderately deep, well-drained, and formed in material weathered from calcareous sandstone and shale. Soil types include Nacimiento silly clay loam and Rincon clay loam.
The Rolph Family Vineyards successfully grows Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon with added dry-farmed acreage in Petite Syrah, and Zinfandel.
